I don't often write reviews, but this device exceeded my expectations. The first one I bought was from another company called Inverter Shop and I paid more than twice as much. It seems like there are always problems. This is a much better unit! I've never had to contact tech support.

Terrible waste of time and money. As the original inverter failed, its replacement also failed. The company returned the money and said it was a recurring problem. However, he lost his resupply order to Revane and ended up with a headache from being stuck without a working solar system.

I installed this in my wife's care cart and worked as advertised. It handles the 2100-2300 watts of my rooftop air conditioner and dryer. My batteries drain quickly when I use one of these, but that's not the fault of the inverters. She cleans every day from Monday to Friday and so far without any problems.

This 5K inverter is great for outdoor use , z "sine wave" drives the internals insane. Get "Pure Sine Wave" when you need more than coffee and tools. It doesn't work with my UPS either. I thought I could overcome the 'modified wave' with the UPS, but this is not an option. I can't use it on my fridge, TV or computer.

I like the overall performance of the hardware, however it is a bit noisy and has a high pitched tone. I do not want it. Another thing I didn't like was not being able to use my 1800w induction cooker. It just didn't heat up at all! It was a big disappointment! Finally, retrofit sine wave inverters, love nothing with AC switches (TRIACS) and that's what induction cookers use to manage heat. I liked its looks and performance so much that I bought the 4000 watt version, its pure sine wave cousin!
