They are great for making lanyards and zippers for your gear. As one user said, you need to place your rope on the smaller "door" side first or you won't be able to close it. When I put it in the door first, I can close the ends with my fingers. I will buy again!

I thought it would be great to use paracord, but it was too easy to pull the ends straight out of the connectors. I ended up having to use my hot glue gun to make it work. Also, these end caps really didn't allow the standard diameter to fit the end cap well. Couldn't close the lid properly. I wouldn't recommend them for the safe feeling of being locked in.

Other reviewers said they don't work (ie close). Another reviewer suggested putting them in the "small door" first. This step is critical to your work! 1-Make sure your rope is not too big! Check the fit by tucking 2 ends into the small door. If they fit with minimal squeezing, these locks work! If your cable is too big, THESE VOLTAGES WILL NOT WORK, order a larger slack adjuster. small door (I used my thumb), you can close the big door from above.
