Installing the latch was a breeze. The hardest part was installing the door panels. Have a friend help you align and put the screws back into the door. Or grow a third hand. When my brother-in-law got here, the finish line was 3-4 minutes away. I would recommend this product and this supplier to a friend.

Dishwasher over 10 years old. it still works fine. Easy installation. It wasn't an "exact" clone of the broken handle I had to replace. Electrical contacts were slightly different. But no problem. The dishwasher is fully functional again. Door locks close securely and easily. It opens just as easily. A seal I didn't want to change. was a nice addition. No leaks. Get one!

Worked great and solved our problem with a VERY difficult to latch door. Note for the next buyer: The clasp is not exactly the same as the original. There are no plastic pins that fit the holes in the door, nor does the plastic tab fit the tongue slot. Basically, it's held on by just two screws. I replaced the door springs at the same time as both were broken and everything is fine. Bottom line, it works well, the woman is happy.

The clasp was an "almost" exact replica of the original clasp. It was missing three small tabs that positioned the piece exactly to engage the latch on the frame, but this was easily remedied by releasing the latch and then positioning against the latch with the door closed before finalizing the mounting screws were tightened. Most of the time I always buy GE, Frigidaire or Hotpoint units because of the simplicity, the price and the availability of spare parts. ATTENTION Kenmore, Kenmore changes a feature in every part of an "identical" car so Sears can sell you the modified version there for three times the price of the previously mentioned vendors!
