Inventory everything in the box before beginning installation.

Everything looked as expected. I installed everything only to find that there was no 6 to 3.5 inch adapter in the package. Part number 21512-1. So I had to undo everything I had done and put the factory air intake trim back on. I looked at this part and you have to pay $26 for it even though it should have been in the original box.

easily 5 times louder and my dynamometer shows far.

WOW! I can't believe the difference a simple cold air intake has made on my Jeep Grand Cherokee HEMI. The beast under the hood is unleashed, 5x louder, and my rear dyno shows a lot more than a 17hp gain. That stock airbox must have completely choked the engine to get such a performance boost with such simple hype. Highly recommend if you have HEMI ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

A must have for anyone with a 5.7 V8

This is my first intake I've ever owned and installed and I'm proud to say I'm happy with it. I installed a K&N air intake on my 2011 Dodge Durango and oh my god the engine sounds great, you can finally feel its true power as the Hemi 5.7 can finally breathe. Shipping was great, got it in a few days which is great right? Also, the air intake was packed in a big enough box, everything was neatly stored so it was easy to take out, it came with all the instructions and also easy to install, youโ€ฆ

Reputation and quality K&N

Although the advertised performance is not very important, especially with a car like my Jeep, the increase in inductive noise is pleasant, and too know what can clean the filter and that it will last as long as the car is a great pro. Installation is easy, I'll leave it at that. The engine compartment is also cleaned well. There's a slight howl from the intake at low throttle, and as far as I can tell it's not from a leak. Overall very happy with the performance and looks. I caution anyoneโ€ฆ

The sound is amazing. increase in horsepower. Some Improvements

Installing the air intake was easy. If you have the necessary tools (8 and 10mm sockets, ratchet with extension, 9/16 wrench, pliers and scissors/scissors) you are done. It took me about an hour to find the tools, read the instructions and install it. If I had to do it again it would take 20-30 minutes. The sound it makes now is amazing. Check out the before and after video I've attached. The only issue I have is not seeing the big advertised power gain of 17hp. But sure there is. My 2012โ€ฆ
