📆 5K Weather Calendar Magnetic for Educational Use Review

Our 4 year old grandkids in love manipulate parts of this calendar. It really gave him an awareness of the association of the spoken word with the printed word. It also allows him to make up two-digit numbers that he could say but had no idea what they looked like. Something with Grandma!

He learns to add numbers to get two-digit numbers, weather, seasons, days of the week and identify them by spelling and months and seasons. Great anchoring of these topics that is suitable for everyday use, easy extension of these topics to other areas such as letters/letter sounds, synthetic phonetics and reading, addition (what comes after 20?), ordinal numbers, etc.

My boys (5 and 3) love this calendar, especially the older one. It's a great pre-kindergarten tool and they love knowing what day it is so they can anticipate the weekend. The only annoying thing is that kids sometimes try to lose small parts of the magnet. I am also posting a small printout of the current month calendar so they can match the day/month listed in the All About Today calendar to the current month.

My kids love checking the weather and they meet up every morning when we put on our shoes to school. The magnets are made from lightweight foam with a thin plastic sticker for the day, month etc so they can be easily taken apart if a child gets curious and decides to separate the layers (like my almost 5 year old did). "Saturday" last week). But a little glue and it's like new. I think we will benefit from this for a few years.

A very nice, simple calendar to help my preschooler learn days, months and dates, as well as the weather and seasons. He loves updating it every morning. Sturdy construction and magnets stick to the board well. Additional props for the Play World Toys seller. I contacted them because we lost 3 months. They replied immediately and were able to send me the missing months. It came with a handwritten thank you note for the purchase from a small business. Very impressive!

My son LOVES this little calendar and it really helped him learn a lot. He learns which letters start words on the calendar and enjoys watching the weather outside and making daily changes on the board. Somehow (as three year olds seem to do) he lost a piece - zero! I couldn't find it anywhere and contacted the seller directly (Play World Toys); they were so kind and sent me zero. It was such a big surprise to receive it in the mail and I'm impressed. I'm so used to being treated like a number…
