These socks are not quite large enough for me to wear comfortably , especially in the height from the ankle and above. They are very colorful and of a nice material that feels more like cotton than wool. When I tried them on and pronounced them too small for me, my wife jumped at the opportunity to take them from me. She tried them on and has had a pair on ever since. These are nice colorful socks. I just don't think they are high enough for men. My wife is grateful! My loss is her gain!

These socks are for my son who hikes and he has yet to go on his next hike. He was excited about him so he must know the benefits.
