I found that a standard light bulb does not fit due to the design of the glass supports! It requires a standard lamp base, but the length of the lamp must be short enough to fit in the decorative lamp housing. We had to buy standard chandelier bulbs to fit the case.

I love the look of this chandelier. If you have basic wiring knowledge, you can install this yourself. Otherwise I would hire someone to install it as the instructions really aren't too clear. Also, I would like to add that you cannot use standard sized bulbs with this fixture as they will not fit in the glass decorations; As a result I have it without any decorations and it still looks pretty cool.

I watched an assembly video that made the task a lot easier. A little patience and it's worth it for the price. I used the recommended E26 Medium bulbs which worked brilliantly and gave the fixture a sophisticated look. Also added a dimmer. Very well packaged, goods and bulbs are undamaged. I am very happy with the purchase. I really like this lamp.

We are so glad we took the risk and bought this chandelier for our dining room. You look like a million bucks. Beware, as others have said, glass balls are pretty hard to take. Make sure you use small diameter bulbs, otherwise you'll have to disassemble the chandelier a few times (like I did). Watch the installation video. DO NOT skip the included white gloves when installing. Once that happens, you really won't regret the time you put into it.

This is a really nice ceiling light and such a great price for the size and quality. The dimpled dark orbs give it a unique look compared to most other companion lights. although they are very soft. When you screw on the part that holds the balls don't over tighten or the glass will break and I don't know how easy it is to replace. I have a feeling people writing reviews about easy installation just hired someone to do it. This chandelier is NOT easy to install. My fiance and I tried 7 times to install this correctly. There are 24 wires for 12 bulbs in a small box. They are really difficult to fit in this box without shifting and loosening. Also, we had to trim the length of the cord to get it higher to the ceiling as there isn't a place to hide the cord if you don't. In addition, all glass screens are cracked. If I could

Arrived fully packaged and sound with no broken parts or extra parts which is always a plus. The instructions weren't very descriptive but seemed to get the job done. Assembly was great until I had to install glass bulbs. The installation design has changed, but the video has not been updated. The nut under the lamp mount on each arm is not tightened enough to leave a gap between the two rings that hold the ball in place.
