🔒 K&J Replacement Charcoal Water Filters for Keurig 2.0 - Universal Fit (6-Pack) Review

Keurig coffee makers are interesting inventions. To be honest I hate their idea as they create tons of unnecessary waste with horrible disposable cups. I use a reusable k cup of freshly ground coffee so I don't have to toss an awful lot of waste out of my machine. Also, the machine itself can get pretty smelly and musty (think fish tank) if you don't disassemble and clean it every now and then. These filters also prevent the formation of limescale deposits in the pipes.

I have no idea why nobody would leave a great review. IMO better quality and longer lasting than brand name filters. They fit better and last longer than the filters that come with the coffee pot. I even gave them a few months to try them out before leaving a review, just to be sure! I absolutely love it and will definitely buy it again. The company even got in touch to make sure everything was ok and wanted me to let them know if there were any issues so they could fix it. No problem, great…

So far I have not been able to tell these filters apart from genuine Keurig filters except by price. They look well made and fit perfectly in the holder. The only minor thing I have, and it's a minor one, is that they are individually wrapped in a different plastic bag that has to be ripped apart to get to them. There is a guide on the outside pocket which I only noticed when tearing it up. But anyway, I was able to figure out the procedure for soaking and rinsing before first use.

I needed replacement filters for my Keurig. I was a little skeptical about buying Revain filters and that they wouldn't fit in my car. So I took a chance and bought 6 as a starter to see how they would perform. They arrived fairly quickly which was great, they came boxed and each filter came in its own little bag. The very first one I used rusted on my Keurig machine and there was no water. I've had my Keurig for 4 years and have always used alkaline filtered water from my water jug in the fridge. Never a hint of rust in the tank or on the filter for 4 years. It's disgusting, and now I'm wondering if my Keurig can even be saved. I can't see the tank as it's in the back of the car and I only noticed it because the water on the bottom started to look reddish/brownish and I removed the tank to see it. Pooh!
