Don't worry, it only worked for a week.

This is junk. Worked for a week and then quit. Do yourself a favor and use a digital timer with no moving parts.

It looks like a pear. - Timer

The pear timer goes too well with my apple salt and pepper shaker. This is my second timer. Another pear timer lasted over a decade. They are worth their price. They help me to be on time every day.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Secret

Nice, but don't ring!

Handy and portable timer. The ticking is louder than the bell. I swear it only works half the time. So I know when I stop hearing the tick I need to watch it and whatever I'm cooking! Super cute in my kitchen but the timer ring isn't as efficient as I was hoping. Seems a bit out of order, but I might have a dud.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Security

I follow Pomodoro's productivity methods. Do not buy.

I follow Pomodoro productivity methods. Don't buy a Pomodoro tomato timer! They charge $20 + S/H! Ridiculous. Small enough to place on my desk next to my computer, this tomato helps me stay focused longer so I can be more productive. It's ticking though, and I'd rather not do it.

Loud and inaccurate

Should have read the reviews before purchasing this product. I wanted to use it as a pomodoro timer but the very loud ticking makes it difficult to focus. In addition, it accelerates and decelerates during movement. So a "minute" is actually 30 seconds, and the next one might be fine. Eventually it goes off and then keeps ticking for about a minute. Just poor quality even if you use it as a kitchen timer I think.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Long wait

Cheaply made, inaccurate and needs your help

It's cheaply made, inaccurate and needs your help to continue. It often stops ticking before the timer runs out and needs to be rotated or tapped to start the countdown again. If you don't hear it stop ticking, you don't know how much time has passed. My first impression is that this is completely inaccurate anyway. When I first set the timer to the full 60 minutes, it took over an hour to ring. Next time it ended in less than 50 minutes.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to tell
