I really like the Wallaby bags; I use the 5 gallon bags and the mixed ones. I decided to get the 1Gallon gusset bags in black instead of the silver & that was a mistake. Stick with the silver unless you're looking for stealth. These bags are terrible to seal it's something to do with the coating, no matter what temperature I use to seal them, they stick to the straightener and if you can't get them separated quick enough you can melt the bag instead of just sealing it. Very sturdy, flat bottom so they stand up, zip lock top and seal really well with an iron. I bought 4 different brands and these were the best.

These seem like great quality bags with a strong zipper seal. The oxygen absorbers are in ten packs which is very helpful. I packed one bag and it heat sealed nicely above the zipper closure using an impulse sealer. I also like that they are not folded when they arrive, which could lead to damage.

I was excited to get these bags in but as I do with all my Mylar I stick a light in them and see if anything shines through. In this case I ordered the black bags with gusset. I opened the bag and used a streamlight inspection light, only 30 lumens and there were pinhole light spots shining through the seam of the gusset. I usually use a 300-500 lumen Olight but this light is what I had to inspect my flour before bagging. If at 30 lumens light is coming through then imaging at 500. I will say…

These were excellent and the gusset really helps when filling them up. As far as durability they look durable but it is my first time using them, the oxygen absorbers also seem to work very well, I would but these again I think from now on I will only buy this brand to be honest

I packaged pinto beans in January. Was going through my stock in February and just checking on everything and none of the oxygen absorbers worked. Redid 30 bags again and here it is in March and again none of them worked. Wasted money.

I like the gusseted bottoms and the ziploc. Also nice to have the small packages of oxygen absorbers in the right size for the one gallon bags. Haven’t filled much to know if they work well.

There is something going on in the Mylar bag industry. I bought some other brand of mylar bags that were full of tiny pinholes where you could see light coming through. Returned them and went for wallaby brand because they are highly rated. Every wallaby bag had the same issue! All along the gusseted seams tiny pin holes were present! EVERY BAG! Put your face in the bag and see if light pours through. Sad to think of all the food that won't be stored properly and unusable when people need it…

This is honestly one of the best deals for mylar bags on revain. The 7.5 mil is incredibly durable. They package the O2 absorbers in sets of 10 so you actually have time to seal your bags before the O2 absorbers are spent. They come with nice labels also. Very well put together package. And the black is a great look for the storage bags.

First time to use mylar bags for long term storage and had no idea what I was doing. These were so easy to use and much better quality than what my sister usually uses. I have no fear these will hold up to time.

I packed half the bags and used two oxygen absorbers in each bag. They did absolutely nothing! I have used oxygen absorbers for years and this is the first batch I ever had that were useless. They don't come with indicators. What a waste of time, money and supplies.The bags were fantastic though.Just don't trust the oxygen absorbers that come with them.

These bags were extremely well packaged, being placed in two different heavy-duty bags. The bags are extremely thick, and appear outstandingly durable. I amazed at the quality of the bags so far - they make the other Mylar bags I’ve used look and feel like cheap aluminum foil. Wallaby will be my only go-to brand for Mylar storage.

These bags feel thick and high-quality. I would really like larger O2 absorbers. These feel a little under sized Not ideal for long-term storage for certain climates.

Why one star short? The zip-lock feature. We purchased these for the sole reason that we didn't want to have to put open bags into another container. It seemed convenient on paper. But this feature makes sealing the bags more tricky. There's less room for error and if you do error and have to open the bag, you'll wind up having to seal below the zip-lock making it useless for resealing. Great bags, terrible oxygen absorbers. I get the feeling they are not the CC's as advertized. My first 10 bags I put 1 oxy absorber in each bag with no noticable shrinkage in packaging. I re-did the 10 and threw 3 of the provided oxy absorbers in, and that made a change, but still not quite as good as other oxy absorbers I have bought seperatly in the past.
