Description of 60PCS Heat Shrink Butt Wire Connector Kit - Insulated Waterproof Electrical Marine Automotive Crimp Terminals Splice

✔️【PREMIUM QUALITY】Thick copper barrel ensures strong secure crimping every time, providing minimal voltage drop, high current flow, and less heat. These will prevent short circuits and problematic wiring that inferior connectors are known for. ✔️【DURABILITY】Each terminal features a thick tinned copper barrel that resists corrosion to hold the wire tight when crimped. The barrel is created from one seamless piece of copper that eliminates the problem of the barrel opening. Your wire will never slip out of the connector. ✔️【WATERPROOF】Insulation tubing has unique dual-walled design. High quality 3:1 shrinkage tubing has a heat-activated sealant lining to provide a 360 degree secure seal. It's flame-retardant, waterproof, and can be used underground. ✔️【WIDE APPLICATIONS】Compliant with all electrical standards, Perfect for marine and automobile applications, whether you are working on your boat, Vehicle, Home or scientific project, our electrical crimp connector will ensure strong watertight seal to make sure everything bond correctly. The connector assortment includes red (AWG 22 – 16), blue (AWG 16 – 14) and yellow (AWG 12 – 10) butt connectors that can be used on wire AWG from 22 to 10. ✔️【TICONN BRAND QUALITY COMMITMENT】We stand behind the quality of our products. Great product for a great price

This is a great value! These kits are normally far more expensive, and sometimes the cheap ones when you crimp them they end up falling apart or the heat shrink and ends up melting off. if these are as good as quality as Napa or Lawson products which are commercial grade and they come in a nice little container for storage I definitely recommend this for someone that does occasional automotive electrical work like myself. I will update this post if these products end up failing

Pros
  • Its a butt splice, there ya go.
Cons
  • Not ideal for high-voltage connections

Not 100 Pieces best in my review

So. there are supposed to be 45 red and 45 blue connectors. There are 44 of each. Not a big deal, but these were factory sealed which means someone is walking out the door with a pocket full of these each day. Probably making up gray market sets of these on the side. They are high quality connectors and the missing ones are the two most popular sizes which is probably why this is happening. I'll buy them again if needed, because of the quality.

Pros
  • Nice kit for my overlanding rig. Shrinks up well and the price is right.
Cons
  • Fragile to excessive bending or twisting can break the seal and cause a short circuit

Works as advertised

Used a heat gun. Shrank tightly around wire. Should be water proof. Not having to use shrink wrap makes these more convenient.

Pros
  • Arrived in a timely manner, and was exactly as pictured on Revain with all the pieces.
Cons
  • smaller than expected but as advertised

Tested under water with a Fluke insulation tester, they pass.

As described, I’m not usually a fan of butt splices, but when there’s no other alternative these seem good. Not sure how long they’ll hold up in hot or cold or exposure to chemicals like oil, gas or grease, but they seem like good quality.I needed to use these on the underside of my truck so my primary concerns were if the connection will pull apart and if they’re truly weather proof. I tested one out, pulled the wires on each end as hard as I could, it held. I then used my expensive Fluke…

Pros
  • Works as advertised.
Cons
  • May not provide enough strength for heavy-duty wiring applications

Works well and even weller with even an inexpensive heat gun

I was able to heat-seal a few of these successfully with a lighter. The results weren't pretty but they did seem to keep wires spliced. Then I discovered the 6.56FT Long Heat Gun . Clever name aside, it is inexpensive, conveniently sized, and doesn't cost much. In particular it's great for these connectors!Anyway, these work with matches or a lighter, sort of. However to get great results get even an inexpensive heat gun.

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • Connection may become compromised if exposed to chemicals or corrosive environments

Does not shrink down small enough for 22-20 Gauge wire

Rather disappointing in these, I buy Ancor as I'm a Marine Electrician, and decided to take a chance on these. They are not up to spec, they do not shrink down small enough to close on 22-20 gauge wires. I have a multiple heat guns, tried them all, rotated the wires, distributed my heat correctly across the connector. No dice. They would not close down enough so I had to pinch them with pliers while they were still hot to get them to seal. Now I have 200 of them.

Pros
  • priced
Cons
  • May not be as reliable as traditional terminals in extreme weather conditions
