78SN 6 Inch Eyeball Light Nickel Review

Fantastic price for a quality light. Bought to upgrade some old white plastic insect eye lightbulbs above our fireplace, once installed, wow what a huge difference in light finish - really gives a classy feel as it has a metal finish instead of white plastic.

We didn't want a white finish because our ceiling is cream colored and will clash. Since we just painted the walls with granite, it makes sense that the light finish would be grey. You are perfect. Minutes to install but to be honest we only replaced yellowed whites that were already there.

2 ordered. Both were delivered incorrectly. The first was 5 inches, not 6. The second was different. The trim is about 2.5 inches wide on the other 10 on my ceiling, that was half of it. Not like in the photo. The whole order is wrong. 50.00. Now I have to take my time, return, print labels, vent gas and then 2 weeks for my money. EXCELLENT WORK! YOU HAVE ACHIEVED IN LIFE! PROOF YOU WANT PAYMENT ONLY AND KNOW THAT 40% OF CUSTOMERS DO NOT RETURN! SO SIMPLY SEND!

There aren't many matte nickel eyeballs out there. Halo is fairly well made and fits most cans. The only objection is that they tend to be more expensive than other brands. In this case, the ease of discovery on Revain and free shipping outweigh the savings and time spent finding a good alternative. We have found that the "hue" of the nickel matches most other nickels in the home, not too shiny and not too coppery.
