Description of 7artisans 75mm F1.25 Manual Focus Fixed Lens for Leica M-Mount Cameras – Compatible with Leica M240, M3, M6, M7, M8, M9, M9p, M10

7artisans 75mm F1.25 lens optics contains 7 elements in 6 groups and is based on Sonnar formula. This is smallest F1.25 portrait lens in the world and it is compatible with rangefinder camera and mirrorless camera. The optimized modern algorithm and polishing technology, we can guarantee the high precision of large size glass while in production. Wide Compatibility: Leica M-M Leica M240 Leica M3 Leica M6 Leica M7 Leica M8 Leica M9 Leica M9p Leica M10. We use lots of brass structural components for the lens to combine the size and solidity. The weight of 600g makes sure that it’s comfortable to rotate the focus ring. The special compressed bokeh of 75mm is more dramatic than that of 35mm and 50mm. And we can create portraits under different lighting conditions with super large aperture.

Amazing Lens for Mirrorless Cameras

When I tried this lens on my mirrorless camera, I was blown away by the quality of the images. The depth of field and sharpness it provides is unbelievable. I'm using it for both portraits and street photography and the results are fantastic. The size and weight make it perfect for carrying around on long photo walks. The only downside is that it's manual focus only, but that's expected for a lens at this price point.

Pros
  • Sharp and high-quality images, great depth of field, light and portable.
Cons
  • Manual focus only.

Forget Noctilux, save $10,000!

A sturdy, fast, medium telephoto lens. I would recommend it to my Leica colleague at any time. The value is second to none. The only criticism is that it is a bit big and not suitable for everyday use. Would also give the Noctilux 75mm f/1.25 4/5 stars.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • I don't remember

Fantastic portrait lens. I have no hesitation in recommending this reasonably priced gem for M cameras and would like to point out that this lens requires a one off initial setup to focus properly. A few years ago I also bought another 7artisians lens (50mm F1.1) that didn't require a focus change. This 75mm was different. I have to focus. I appreciate the little tool put together in the package. I was able to tune in quickly. Since I have M2, M9, M10 I could change the focus. If I only had an…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
