Cool little lens for a great price Includes

Hey, it's cheap and durable. I bought it for my first generation Blackmagic Pocket Movie Camera. Works well although there is no auto focus, manual works fine. I was surprised at the weight and quality of such a cheap lens. That kept me going as long as I could save up for a nice, more expensive Olympus. Nevertheless, I use this lens occasionally.

Pros
  • Camera and photo
Cons
  • I have no dislikes for it, everything is fine

Great lens, great price.

I use this lens with the E-M5 II and YI M1. I have an Oly 17mm and a 45mm and was looking for a "normal" focal length between the two. I'm an old man, so I'm familiar with focusing and aperture setting. I know some reviewers complain about corner sharpness on this lens, but for me it works flawlessly. The attached photo was taken with a YI and shot at f1.8. special value.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Nothing here

Was hoping to use this lens with accurate hyperfocal markings instead of manual focus, but neither the depth of field scale nor the distance scale are accurate enough for such use. The depth of field scale looks completely useless, more like an ornament. I don't like the clickless bezel either, but I think it's good for video shooting, I don't know, haven't tried it. But it's still a useful lens, with decent aperture image quality and a good deal.

Great budget lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras.

I've had very few opportunities to use the 7artisans 25mm f1.8 lens on Micro Four Thirds cameras since I got them, but I found it to be a great lens for the money (Worth about half as much as the Panasonic 25mm f1.7.) What I like about this lens is how it makes you shoot more thoughtfully. I learned how to shoot with a fully manual Minolta SR-1s camera. This lens from 7artisans takes me back to that time! It's not a snapshot lens, but a lens to use when you want to take your time to properly…
