Excellent tablet BUT an extra memory card is 100% useless. The operating system does not allow you to format the card as internal storage and therefore you cannot download applications to the card. For me, this renders the card unusable as the device's memory quickly fills up as apps are added. Without the ability to upload applications to the card, the usefulness of the device is severely limited.

I bought this for my wife. It's time for an upgrade. She likes the stylish design, two-tone (white on the front, gray on the back). The suitcase that came with it is great because we have cats and dogs and I'm going to order one. It was very easy to transfer their old data and the screen quality is excellent!

We have been waiting for the upgrade to the new TAB A and the installation is easy. My problem is that we have Samsung phones, a large Samsung tablet (Android) and a Dell laptop (Windows). Communication between them is automatic, fast and mostly excellent. However, since they all appear to be connected to TAB A as if it were a phone, there are conflicts with some underlying applications. This Samsung Tab 8.0 inch tablet is very good. The case is inexpensive but works well, plus there are magnetic locks which aren't mentioned in the online description. The 32 GB microSD card worked without any problems. Samsung does a great job with the tablet and the software that comes with it. All unnecessary applications can be removed or disabled.
