The red buttons are visible as mentioned by another reviewer, but I plan to color them over with Sharpie marker.The light casting is very hard plastic. Just installed these today and they look beautiful. They are made of plastic so I'm hoping they will last, but they were super easy to put together (mind you, there are no assembly instructions provided so you kinda have to reference revain to see how they're supposed to look) and it was easy to dig into the yard. I bought the 8 pack of lights because I liked the 4 pack that I purchased. The warmth of the light is so much better than the sterile white light you see on so many other solar powered lights. My only bad comment is that the light does not stay on as long as the company claims. I'm getting just over 4 hours a night in direct sunlight on the low setting. These lights were arrived least partially charged and lit the first night. The style is sleek and unobtrusive. which is great in a garden where the focus is on plants and flowers. I use the lower light setting, although there is not a huge difference between high and low. Seller indicates that these can light up to 12 hours on the low setting. That, of course is a joke. These lights are bright but they last only for a couple of hours even on a sunny day.They are very beautiful. But I have to return them.

I've ordered two sets of these lights to provide light for two walkways in our garden. the areas get full sun, so they charge easily and stay lit all night. They provide the perfect amount of light on the lower setting (there are two brightness options). Would definitely buy again!

Only works around 3 hours. There's 1 out of the set of 8 that works 4 hours. If lights don't work, it has no purpose. They are all set next to each other so they get large amounts of sunlight. I have another set of solar lights nearby aiming up towards the trees and those lights work double the length of these.

Bought these last week. I haven’t had the best of luck with solar lights in the past so I decided to finally invest and pay a little more. So worth it! We had a party the night of the 4th and just used 6 of these with a few string lights and it was enough! Highly recommend.
