Poor quality control

The rubber rim on the replacement filter is too small to slide over the plastic housing containing the filter. I checked and ordered the right side for my shop vacuum.

Hard to beat. for power tools and hand tools

These filters seem to fit. The large plastic/rubber opening is hard and difficult to fit into the vacuum. Work. I went with the price.

Fits an old shop vacuum

I have a handyman shop vacuum that is over 20 years old and this product suits me. A handle is attached to the filter cover, which is now part of the filter. An old red nut goes well with this. It could be cut off, but everything seems fine with him. Here they may have gotten the 8-1/2" size, but the filter itself is 8" tall. I'm glad I found these filters as the old shop vacuum is still doing its job.
