I really liked this EL wire. It was bright, easy to work with, and long enough that I could make this flashing candy/no candy sign for Halloween. As other reviews have noted, there is a distinct high-pitched whine when the wires are illuminated but even wearing it while we walked around the neighborhood trick-or-treating it wasn’t loud enough to be a problem.

Bought two of these for each of my kids' costumes. For reference, I used them to do a basic outline around a 6-yo and 8-yo average sized kids, and the 15 ft length was enough to do so (though it did run a tiny bit short on the 8-yo one). On the high-pitch noise, it seems to vary from battery pack to battery pack. I lucked out with no having no sound at all, the other one having a subtle high-pitch noise. for us it was perfect, you can hear a slight noise when turned on but we may a stormtrooper axe so it was great The neon light may not be suitable for certain types of photography or videography!

The lights are a great value and seem to be of good quality. The photos what is included and it shows them turned on during a bright day and in a completely dark room. We were using these to decorate our bicycles and it they turned out great. (I don't have photos of them, unfortunately). I would buy these again, without hesitation.

These are super bright and look really cool. The only downside is that the battery pack makes a loud buzzing sound. That's my feedback.

Works good and looks pretty nice, the reason I had to return it was the severe drainage of the batteries. In the 4 days that we tried to use it, we went through 4 pairs of AA batteries, including the one that came with it.

I used these for making neon signs for my daughter's birthday party! They are all working perfectly! Can't wait to see them at the party!

Overall the construction quality is on par with the price. I was hoping for a brighter white, but I learned from reading that white will not be as bright as other colors with respect to electroluminescent wire. Thus not a fault of this product.

Exactly what I was looking for. Lights are vivid and bright. Shipping was even faster than I expected. Very satisfied with my purchase and I will be buying again.

The lights are great. However the sound emitting is not slight. It is extremely piercing and load and can be hear from across the room. We had to wrap the battery packs in material and then stuff into a bag to keep from giving everyone a headache.

Works really well! Not as bright as I thought it was gonna be. Don’t take off the end rubber thing because it will shock you tho.

Worked well. Slight sound; not loud. They are a little stiff and coiled up. Some are brighter than others. They run through batteries after a few hours of operation. Otherwise, they are pretty good. I wish that they could be powered without batteries so they can be run continuously. They are fun to play and experiment with.

This product arrived with the bag stained red and immediately stained my fingers. I'm assuming this is toxic crap paint. If you buy this and actually put it on your clothes, it will stain them and ruin them.Do NOT purchase this under ANY circumstance.

They arrived and were as advertised. Unfortunately I misunderstood what they were capable of and they weren't what I was looking for.

These were awesome. Each color came with its own inverter. Good bang for the buck. The wire is fairly robust and easy to work with

So upset because i spent 2.5 hours setting up my DIY sign only for this el wire to give out and completely stop working. Will be returning and purchasing another one, so hopefully it works.

The only complaint is the buzz. When everything else is really quiet my ears really tune in to it. But hey there’s usually something else to drown that buzz out.

Looks awesome, but I've bought 3 of these and 1 of them was DOA. I took it apart and one of the solder joints inside was broken, I re-soldered it and now it works fine.

These worked out awesome for our faux neon light sign! Best part is that they can be cut to size and still work! Thanks for attention.

I ordered this to outline a logo on a totem pole for the Electric Daisy Carnival and it worked amazingly well. It was bright enough to see at dusk but if you're looking for something that you can see in the daytime I'd recommend EL tape or LED strips. The title says 4 modes but I don't really consider "off" to be a mode. It can light up solid, flash every second, or flash every half second. Aside from that I was very impressed with the battery life, I got about 5hrs of straight run time
