Will most likely sit in the box forever.

My son loves it, didn't take long even though it came from China. He took off the end and attached it to his radio and. Music nice and clear UPDATE. After a few months it bent and then it just broke. If you have this antenna, don't touch it, just put it on and leave it alone, it's very weak.

Perfect replacement for my small Sony portable radio. (ICF-38) The mounting tab was a bit thicker than the original antenna, but I removed one of the two washers and it fitted fine. I tightened it up and am now using the swivel on the new antenna instead of the original antenna mount. I recommend it and the price is right. Keep an eye on those little washers - you could lose them under your fingernail.

I bought this antenna to replace the broken one in my Bose Acoustic Wave. It works exactly as described which is the reason for the 4 stars but once installed it doesn't fit my Bose properly. The diameter is 1/3 the size of my original, creating a visible gap between the antenna and the antenna hole.
