Disappointing Automotive Pipe for Emissions

According to my experience, this pipe fell short of my expectations. While the installation process was fairly straightforward, the overall performance and functionality of the pipe left me wanting more. The one redeeming quality is its affordability, but unfortunately that comes at the cost of reliability and efficiency. Overall, I would not recommend this product in terms of emissions control and replacement parts for your vehicle.

Pros
  • Improves exhaust flow for better engine performance
Cons
  • Requires welding for installation

Not suitable. suitable for exhaust and emissions

availability So I spent 6 hours last night trying to change this to make it work. I ended up using half the original and half off and we still had to use a factory press to shape the metal. Also, everything had to be welded. Not even close to a direct landing. Pretty much a waste of money because we could use straight pipe and modify it to work with what we ended up having to do.

Pros
  • Made in Canada. No obligations due to NAFTA
Cons
  • update

I was trying to install it on a Mazda 6 automatic transmission and none of the flanges would mate to make a good seal. There is what I would call a fin on the mid tube that does not match or touch the motor mount frame. Ground the edge only to find that none of the flanges match. The center exhaust also came too close to the engine oil drain plug, really raising doubts as to whether there was enough room to remove the drain plug. Due to time, resources and money I finally cut the broken pipe…

Pros
  • Exhaust pipe
Cons
  • No instructions
