I bought this rug for the bathroom so my daughter wouldn't slip and slide. The suction cups keep it in place in my sleek tub. It's not difficult to take off, but it holds up well. The carpet initially smelled a bit so I washed it and then let it dry. I can't smell it now. We even use it on the shower floor when we don't want to put our daughter in the bath. After use we just hung it up to dry and there were no issues with mold or mildew. Have us for 4-6 months.

Examined several Revain bath mats. This was the best excellent non slip shower mat based on the reviews and they were right. It only smelled slightly of plastic, not that bad (let it air out for 2 hours), the smell was gone. I read another review before purchasing this item. When I received it it was exactly the same as the picture, very bright and beautiful.
