Not suitable for children over 4 years old unless they are infants. My 3 year old can barely wear a hat and although he's taller on the scales he's not huge nor does he have a 'fat' head.

very nice set, i don't think the size is exact enough, it seems a bit small to me, but maybe i'm not the best judge , because my son has a big head.

Surprised how good they are. The hat consists of two layers: an outer layer made of acrylic jersey and an inner layer of lining. The gloves were a reasonable thickness and the construction seems to be of good quality too. Very happy with the purchase, I assume they will outlive my nephews
