Works great. No complaints. Used to connect an SDI camera to a TV. Transparency - I don't know how to measure thickness - they're all the same size so I didn't measure image quality - correct.

Perfect for Olympus CV170 digital endoscope processor for medical practice. Only need an SDI cable and an HDMI cable to make it work. Uses a "keyboard" USB connector for power. Worked great.

I have not found anything wrong with any part of this product. My goal for this unit is to connect cable TV to a receiver that doesn't have an F jack on the TV but uses an HDMI jack to connect coax.

This is a well built converter. It works great for monitors. Original SDI input for converter, then HDMI input for monitor with sound. The USB power cord is great, you use the monitor's USB port to power the converter with just one power cord that fits into a wall outlet. I bought a few and they all work great, no setup just plug and play. I can recommend this converter.

I have ordered an HDMI-SDI box for one side and SDI-HDMI for the reverse switch. The HDMI-SDI box comes with 5V PS. Everything hooked up and nothing works until I found the 5V-PS and hooked it up to the SDI HDMI box. If this is required, turn it on and ask me to turn it on. Don't make me read the fine print to get a working pad. The seller got back to me very quickly and offered me two options to solve my problem. Very impressed with the after sales service.

This product converts to 1080p with 1080i source which is fine but I didn't realize it came without a power supply. It comes with a USB cable to connect to a USB power adapter. And most new TVs come with a USB power port, but I will most likely use them on older TVs that don't have a USB port for power. So keep in mind that they don't come with a power adapter. I missed "adapter not included" in the product description when ordering. If I had noticed that, I would not have ordered.

Bought an SDI to HMI converter as well as an HDMI to SDI converter as I needed something for my church to put live on TVs in different rooms of the to project church building. When I first set it up it never worked, gave up and made plans to run new wire around the church building.
