The tip diameter is still too large for a "microfine " brush.

Tip diameter approx. 2 mm. Although thinner than the "regular" brush tips you find in touch-up paint bottles, it's still a bit too big when trying to apply paint to fine stone chips on your car. A 1mm diameter tip would be preferable for a "microfine" brush.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some small things

Suitable for large chips.

Cut part of the brush to use plastic to apply. You have to fill the chips with color. The brush fills and spills. Paint Ship Fixes look bad because you are out of range of the chip. The color is in the lines and that's why you use this cutting tips app and paint on the chip like a needle / tattoo artist. Stay in the chip, the color will move. Use part of the brush when the chip is 3 times the size of the head. (In my opinion.)

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Ideal for small orders

Does exactly what you need. Allows you to apply a product that requires precision. I mainly use it for touching up paint/clearcoat/varnish. I have a 1975 Corvette Stingray and am very careful about what I use in my car and how I use it. The brushes that come with Touch Paint are usually too big and can make a mess. And don't get me started on those pens. Why take the risk of fixing a defect with something that might scratch it? With these soft tips, you don't have to worry about that. Great…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

My wife accidentally scratched my door when opening her door.

My wife accidentally scratched my door while opening her garage door. I mixed the touch up paint and clear coat and used the micro applicator to smudge the affected scratch. I then used a heat gun to "relax" the mixture. I then sanded the next area with 2000 grit sandpaper; applied polish, sealant and then wax. Clean and degrease (remove wax) the scratched area directly with rubbing alcohol or preferably with Duplicacolor Paint Cleaner BEFORE starting work. Nobody can tell where the scratch…
