Large bucket perfect for my needs. I mainly use it to keep wood scraps and ash clean around the fireplace. Do not use it constantly to remove hot ash. Have a bigger bucket for that. The shovel, while not very heavy, is also good for its size.

Perfect size for a small wood-burning fireplace. Safe enough and attractive enough to leave next to an indoor fireplace. There's enough ash for a day or two - enough for us to fill it up, let the embers burn out, and the next day they dumped a new load of ash and embers.

Bought to help transport the ashes from the fire (the pit is too heavy to carry). The bucket is just the right size for such a small job and easy to transport. The shovel works fine. The construction/materials are generally good, although the shovel handle doesn't seem to be durable. If you are accommodating enough, this is easy to fix. Not at all disappointed with the price.

While the size of the product is perfect for my needs, it is definitely NOT as advertised. The description says it's "heavy duty" and made of "Steel". It's actually as light as an empty paint can, so it's most likely aluminum at best, and it looks like I could bend it with my bare hands. I've just received it so we'll see how it holds up in use, but I wouldn't feel comfortable putting even remotely warm ashes in it, let alone coals. Definitely not worth the price given how light it is.

The bucket itself is exactly what I was looking for: compact, stylish and with a carrying handle. The metal handle has a film or corrosion, but it does not affect the use of the item. The wood protection on the bucket handle is of high quality. Alas, if you had any hopes of using a shovel - good luck! The metal was too loose to attach to a wooden handle, and there was no hole in the shovel handle to even screw a shovel onto it. Sure, you can use a shovel just by using a short metal handle, but…
