I have a lot of these crimp caps because you usually can't even get a pack at this price. They work well and for the price and speed they are really worth it. I would advise anyone looking for crimp caps at a good price not to waste time looking for cheaper ones than these as they are good quality, work well and come at a great price. You will have a hard time finding them cheaper anywhere else.

I challenge you to find a better deal on crimp caps that work as well as these. The number of caps provided for the price is outstanding. The caps themselves are crimped the first time, every time. The last bag I bought (I might add elsewhere) was more expensive, had fewer lids and many of the lids were already partially crushed (probably on the way). You may never need that many caps for a typical car stereo installation, but it's nice to have backups, especially at this price point.

ABSOLUTE waste of money. The metal tip inside should be long, but the tip is too short to be practical. In other words, after crimping, the plastic expands a bit while the metal sleeve stays compressed inside, allowing the plastic sleeve to just slip off. Two stars because it works if you use tape or other means to hold the lid in place as a "worst case" fallback, but otherwise it's useless for professional installers like me.

Unfortunately it's just garbage. I've been a plumber for 19 years and I still do small jobs around the house now and then. They make it easy to install base radios and I have ordered 2000 of these units. They are similar to those in AAMP Of America, but the metal ring inside is almost thin enough to be bent with bare fingers. They are much lighter and thinner than they look. I used about a dozen and 5 of the insulating caps fell off so I replaced them with butt connectors. This is an accident…

It's often said that you get what you pay for, but we often try, despite the warning, to get a lot for next to nothing. Didn't work here. These baseball caps are trash, clean and plain. The plastic is thin and very malleable and when you get a working crimp the plastic can easily slip off the crimp exposing the bare metal contacts for a short. I've tried many crimping options, wire combos, crimping tools etc to get it working - so I can't send the rest of the batch back so I'm keeping it out of

If you are using crimp connectors for the butt joint, STOP. First, you're doing twice as many crimps, so you should have twice as many crimps to fail. More importantly, the closed end crimp connector crimps the two wires twisted together, creating a secure connection.
