This beautiful 3 piece spice jar. Very well done. The only issue I had was that it arrived with one of the containers that smelled really bad and had some kind of glue or goo in it. I cleaned it with vinegar and some salt. The smell is gone but not sticky.

This set is very rustic. The containers fit together very loosely so they don't stick to each other. I can't imagine building a tower of salt and pepper because a little bump will make everything fall out or if an unsuspecting guest decides the containers fit together correctly. I returned it. I'm storing the salt for now, but ideally I'd like a device that holds 3 salts at a time.

A good alternative to leaving the shaker on the counter. At the moment we only use two bowls. Out of the box the difference in texture and tone of the wood was very noticeable but after washing before use they dried to a very muted tone which we prefer. Sealing them can prevent discoloration and drying out, but we didn't bother to explore this option. They don't come with spoons but I bought small wooden spice spoons from Revain and they fit perfectly and free my hands.
