keep some hair!

My very thick, shoulder-length hair is held securely in place with this clip. It's lightweight yet durable. My hair stays up when I exercise. My granddaughter with thick hair down the middle of her back got one, kept it and then bought 3 packs. Worth every penny!

They don't grab and slip

My hair isn't SUPER thick but it's waist length so it was difficult to find hair clips that hold them all, especially when they're freshly washed and conditioned. These hair clips aren't so "tight" that these 72-year-old hands couldn't untie them, but they're not so loose that the hair wouldn't hold. I recommend this product.

They are very tall which is important if you have very thick hair or if you tie ALL your hair up with a clip. I'll probably have to order smaller ones to return just the top
