Description of 🔋 Accu-Gage Low Pressure Tire Gauge: The Ultimate Tool with Protective Rubber Guard, Angled Chuck, and 15psi Capacity

For Schrader valves only. Does **NOT** work with Presta valves. Low 15psi range is ideal for low pressure tires where small variations of pressure have a large impact on ride quality and traction. Unlike digital gauges, the Bronze Bourdon tube precision movement is not affected by temperature, altitude, or humidity, and no batteries are required. Accuracy conforms to ANSI B40.1 Grade B and California regulation. Gauge holds pressure reading until released. Bleeder button releases pressure reading / bleeds air from tire. Backed by a Lifetime Warranty (USA and Canada) so click "Add to Cart" and buy with confidence.

Exact pressure?: Tire and wheel tools

I have two of these gauges, one is old and this one is new. I bought the first one because of the ANSI certification and it has worked great over the years. The new one seems equally stable on pressure readings, but the two gauges differ by about two pounds, about 7 percent. So which one is really accurate? Two pounds isn't much, and I'd probably be happy with either if I didn't have a comparison, but I expected ANSI certification to make them almost the same. The old one seems more consistent…

Great fit for my ATV. Easy to read but the components are loose.

I love this product. It is easy to read and fits my ATV perfectly. My only criticism was that the gauge was dangling right out of the box in the case and the valve was dangling on the gauge. Although a simple solution. Unthread the nipple/valve assembly from the body and carefully remove the rubber cap. Tighten the two screws on the back, and then reattach the rubber cover. Be careful when screwing the valve assembly back onto the gauge to avoid pinching the rubber cap underneath. After that…

Bourdon tube, precise and very constant, easy to read, holds pressure.

It's very stable, which is actually much more important than absolute accuracy since you want both tires to be the same pressure on each side, plus/minus half or even an integer PSI value (the is 3%). at 30 psi) is not critical. I have to press it against the valve very quickly to keep air from escaping. I wish it had an extended cartridge tip as I'm not very fast at my age :-) but any that had an extended tip didn't have the Bourdon mechanism. The seller got back to me very quickly when I had…

Big disappointment in tire repair tools

Big disappointment in this tire gauge, assuming I have a broken tool. The pressure gauge does not hold the measured pressure in the tires, but drains out immediately and fairly quickly after the pressure gauge is detached from the tire. After about 10 seconds the display returns to zero. Unfortunately I didn't make a video of the behavior, that would have explained it better. I've tried removing and swapping out various components that simply unscrew from the base and checked the o-rings, but…

Terrible Guarantee! for tire fitting

I bought this tire pressure gauge because of the manufacturer's reputation and a lifetime guarantee. I soon noticed that the pressure readings were lower than other gauges I have. The manometer doesn't hold any readings either, air just rushes out. According to the manufacturer it's easy to fix, you just have to unclog the valve, which I've done a couple of times, but it didn't take long for it to start leaking again. So I decided to take advantage of the lifetime guarantee and contacted GH…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Update possibility

I just hate the rubber protection they are using now. The smooth rubber protection that used to be around the gauge was much better. The rotating air chuck on this model is not as easy to operate as on previous versions of their gauge. When worn, it may eventually start leaking. The gauge itself is excellent as it is a Bourdon gauge. This type of sensor is known for its durability and accuracy. I would prefer to buy direct from the manufacturer like the previous two Accu-Gage RS60X's I bought…

Before returning this sensor. READ IT!

I have read other people's comments about their experiences with these sensors. Some were unhappy with inaccurate readings and the fact that the gauge didn't hold pressure after it was removed from the tire valve stem. I ordered one anyway, hoping to get the sensor as advertised. I was dismayed with the pressure gauge I received as it doesn't accurately measure or keep the pressure either! WAITING! I looked at the gauge and noticed that the protective rubber sleeve they add to cover the gauge…

Defective and tricky the best tools and equipment

The first measurement I took went smoothly except that I noticed the needle slowly going down when I stood up after the measurement. Of course, as per other reviews, I had an air leak from the pressure release button. I've tried finger tightening various bolts but to no avail. Subsequent readings have shown me how difficult it is to get a good seal with this on a car tire valve stem - the alignment has to be EXACT! I have never experienced such a tricky tire pressure gauge in my life. On the…

Doesn't keep tire pressure values - scrap!

This gives an accurate reading. while it works fine. I hope he keeps working. The same does not apply to the accompanying product that I ordered at the same time. Accu-Gage RA60X (5-60 psi) with square chuck and dial gauge in tubular. Inaccurate pressure readings were displayed on first use. When I pushed the pressure release button, the gauge didn't go back to zero. He's stuck at 5 pounds. So avoid the RA60X with a hose and a rectangular cartridge, that's rubbish. I will commend Revain though,
