Eats batteries - my new review

Seems very accurate. Cuff fits well and is large. Everytime you change batteries you need to program it although it works out of the box. It loses the stored history. Annoying to me is it talks to you although that's easy to shut off and maybe easy for some who can't hear because the screen doesn't light up. It uses 4 AAA batteries. They don't last long. Probably 40 cycles and they are dead. AC charger is available to order. 4 stars because of the batteries.

Pros
  • Easy to use, accurate
Cons
  • The LCD display may be too small for users with poor eyesight or visual impairments

Large display in my review

When I first unpacked the monitor and tried it, the readings were wildly inaccurate. I then set it up following the directions, and the readings are now consistent. The LCD display is large, but not backlighted. It was nice that batteries were included.

Pros
  • October 23, 2018
Cons
  • The device may not be suitable for users with nervous system disorders or conditions

Not reliable for people with elevated pulse pressure

Most people are not aware that electronic BP monitors rely on so called "oscillometric" measurements. They do not measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure directly. They do not pick up the Korotkoff sounds which doctors and nurses hear through stethoscope. Instead, they measure a so called "envelope" of oscillations in pressure picked up from the tube. This envelope is much broader than the range of pressures where Korotkoff sounds are heard, and it has no characteristic features for…

Pros
  • Voice Broadcast: The voice broadcast makes an alternative for silent mode, facilitating testing for users with different needs (the voice function can be turned off)
Cons
  • The device may not be able to account for certain genetic or hereditary factors

High quality for home monitoring

Been using this for about three months several times a week. I needed to track my BP for my new ADHD meds and this was a suggested practice. The two times I've been into a doctor's office since, the BP they recorded was well within the range I've been recording from the Paramed one so I believe it's accurate.SUPER easy to use, quiet, quick, and the screen is large and clear. I also just realized I haven't needed to replace the batteries yet so that's pleasant.I'm a bigger guy who used to lift…

Pros
  • Excellent!!
Cons
  • The included device bag may not be durable enough to protect the monitor during transportation

Great machine best in my review

I was at the ER yesterday and had my BP taken and this morning I used the machine and it was quite similar to my reading yesterday. Great buy

Pros
  • Convenient Memory Function
Cons
  • The device may not be able to provide accurate readings for users with respiratory or lung issues

Easy to use good for me

Really easy to use. Accurate. Verbally tells you the detail so easy to use for people that have trouble seeing That's my feedback.

Right now it's doing the job it's supposed to do.

I've had the BP monitor about a month, so it's a little early to tell if it will have longevity. It's similar to the previous BP monitor that I have in that it has 2 users; but I'm still having problems switching over to User B with this one. I like that it has a soft carrying case. However, IF you touch the top of the case over what is the 'Start' button you'll hear a voice from the case because it starts taking a BP with no arm in the cuff! lol I do like that it tells you whether it's a HIGH,

Pros
  • Health Monitors
Cons
  • The device may not be able to account for certain lifestyle factors, such as diet or exercise

Disappointing packaging

The product works fine but the delivery without proper packaging is negligent. The box had arrived all crumpled and wet without the signature amazon packaging.

Pros
  • The device comes with a large LCD display that makes it easy to read your blood pressure readings. Additionally, the device is easy to operate, even for those who are not familiar with blood pressure monitors. The included device bag and batteries also make it easy to take with you on the go
Cons
  • The device may not be suitable for use in certain recreational or sporting activities

Was delivered outside my unlocked porch in the rain- Thanks

I liked the product but did not like getting the product all wet from the rain- they could of opened the screen door and put it in a covered area

Pros
  • It talks and tells you if you are normal or not. That's a plus, Easy-to-use
Cons
  • The device may not provide clear instructions or user manuals, causing confusion for some users

Works Great for my opinion

Biggest complaint is hose comes loose from main unit too easily, but that's just annoying, not a functional issue (Comes apart when moving, putting away, etc. Not when in use).

Pros
  • Blood Pressure Monitors
Cons
  • The device may not provide reliable readings for users with irregular heartbeats or arrhythmias

Great Buy (Very Sensitive)

I got this for my grandfather whose vision isn't the best. The font on this BP monitor is nice and big and you can even turn on an option to have it read the BP out loud. IT works really well, comes with a little black bag to store it. My only complaint is that it is pretty sensitive to touch so if you put it in a backpack or something where the button will be pressed, it turns on and you can hear the little motor running. (And if the makers of this product are reading this - you should have a…

Pros
  • Full set: 4 AA batteries as well as a carrying bag for convenient storage and carry included
Cons
  • The device may not be able to detect blood pressure changes over longer periods of time

A life saver for my opinion

I didn't know I needed this until I went to the doctor and they measured high blood pressure. I now use this every morning, and combined with lifestyle changes I'm able to monitor my progress. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Great travel blood monitor
Cons
  • The upper arm cuff may be uncomfortable for some users, especially those with sensitive skin

Great device, one major issue

Thus works great and is very accurate. I took it to my doc appointment and the reading matched within a couple numbers each time on 5 readings. One major issue is the hose end that plugs into the machine, if left plugged in it can be broken off very easily in the machine. DO NOT store it or leave sitting with the hose plugged in! Super glue works to fix once you get the piece out.

Pros
  • Accurate, easy to use and read, works great. I highly recommend.
Cons
  • The device may not be suitable for users with pacemakers or other implanted medical devices

Perfect for home monitoring

Looking for a BP cuff that's accurate, gentle, and easy to use/read? Look no further! After buying another cuff (Revain's best seller) that was inaccurate and painful to use (left a bruise on my arm), I did my research to find this one. We checked the accuracy by comparing it to a manual BP reading (with a manual cuff and stethoscope) and found it to be on point. The cuff doesn't over inflate like others and it's comparable to the ones used in hospitals. It has huge numbers that are easy to…

Pros
  • Works as it should.
Cons
  • The device may produce noisy or distracting sounds during operation, making it inconvenient for sensitive environments or situations

Love that it talks to you.

By far the best I have had. I went to a doctors office and this is what they used. They told me they got it so I ordered me and mom one while we waited for the doctor.

Pros
  • Easy transport to check your blood pressure anywhere accurate reading great buy for the price
Cons
  • The device may require consistent and proper use to achieve accurate results, which may be difficult for some users to maintain
