Through trial and error, I found that these indexable inserts are nowhere near the quality of other brands. The cutting edges dull quickly and don't hold up well even under light use. The only upside is that they are less expensive than its competitors. Poor performance and subpar quality make these inserts a bad investment.
If this is an SAE tool, why is a metric clamp screw and metric socket pin required? Sell to USA, do all SAE. makes it difficult to find a replacement unless I go to that exact manufacturer.
Cheap Allen's, cheap hardware, cheap clip. Also, the only router bit I own requires a metric allen key. Basically I bought $80 inserts and a $6 holder. Inserts seem to consistently accept .200 doc in mild steel, but are utterly useless for anything else.
