🔪 WEN BB7250 Woodcutting Bandsaw Blade: Optimize Precision and Power Review

Aggressive cutting and quiet operation. Leaves more teeth marks than my other blade. Use it to cut 5/4ths of pressure-treated Adirondack chairs and porch swings.

The weld on the blade joint is so bad it makes a very loud, very unnerving CLACK every time it hits wood. I expect this thing to break within the first week. Send it back and buy something from a reputable company.

Sharp, thin blade. My only complaint is that the blade makes a clicking noise when using it in my bandsaw. After looking for the cause for some time, I found that the spot where the blade was welded was sharpened too much, resulting in a groove that seemed to make a clicking noise in my saw. It's fine, it doesn't affect performance, it just annoys the constant clicking while working.

I think it needs a different tension than their 5/8" blade because it just keeps coming loose and I finally gave up and broke it. Install a 5/8 inch knife. I'm really not impressed with this and the cheap plastic adjustment knob on my 10" Wen band saw broke trying to adjust the bearings next to the saw blade. The Wen saw is only good for very thin cuts. The high cutting accuracy with thick wood is beyond question. .

I have bought this saw blade 4 or more times and while worth the money it will not last long. This is Blade 2 Project. It gets boring quickly, but costs $13 with shipping. I'll be trying other blades soon, but this is a "good enough" blade for most people using this type of band saw. It cuts great for a month of constant use and then you'll find it cuts more and more slowly. I don't normally bother with reviews but my experience with this band saw blade has been extremely dangerous. Please do not purchase this blade as my item was severely lacking in quality assurance. I installed it on a band saw following the band saw instructions. I have all the roles and tension set as expected. The blade made a clicking/scratching sound. I bought this 1/2" wide blade to replace an older, blunter blade on my 10" WEN - Bandsaw to replace. After installing the blade, adjusting the tension, centering the deepest part of the neck in the middle of the wheel, and setting the top and bottom guides perfectly, I found the blade moved back somewhere between 1/16" and 1/ 8th".
