excellent stopwatch at Fitness Technology

I never write reviews but I have found that 99.9% of my online purchases and 99.5% of my online purchases at Ison Revain and 100% of my decisions are based on customer reviews. So I'm changing my lifestyle! My children participate in swimming competitions and I am often asked to volunteer for timing. I bring my own stopwatch and love it. In game I often see if I get the same time with the touchpad and with other timers I've used after a while, but not with this one. One of the trainers asked me

Good stopwatch, almost silent

When editing audio and video and synchronizing voice work, accuracy is paramount. I have found this easy to use stopwatch to provide digital accuracy every time I use it in the studio. This often happens directly with the counters of the editing program - that's enough for me. I like the high visibility color if I forget it and put it somewhere because I can notice it again pretty quickly. I often use the neck strap that comes with it. I found the recording start and stop button to be almost…

Good stopwatch. on Fitness Technology

Military, spends a lot of time off-road. I use a stopwatch regularly, so I usually wear it around my neck. It takes a lot of hits and is holding up quite well. It keeps time well, which is important. The time in our walkie-talkies should be synced +/- 5 seconds. I sync this to Zulu Time (GMT) with a GPS receiver about once a week and it stays accurate. It is also very convenient that you can set military time. The stopwatch function is easy and convenient to use. Cheap enough, I keep a few…

Works as described but cheap construction.

I work in a garage and paint with water-based paint. Our line of products requires a paint viscosity test to determine if it needs to be diluted with more water. If you don't do this, the paint may take a long time to dry or may not apply properly. Basically I needed a simple start/stop timer to measure how long it takes for the paint to flow out of a specially sized cup for this purpose. However, the plastic on the outer shell is quite cheap and the screen scratches easily. I'll cover the…

Large display, no beeps, solid buttons, yellow color, easy to find

Other reviews convinced me that this is the large display stopwatch I need. Pros: Fairly large numbers, easy to read even in low light (my personal favourite) Pushbuttons with perfect tactile feedback. No annoying beeping when pressing a button. 5 years or so CR2032 lithium battery (replaceable but not easy) Yellow: easy to find in the chaos No circle, no countdown, no date. It's very easy to use the one-click mode and the buttons always work the same. Cons: It's also a watch. I would have…

Pros
  • handy part
Cons
  • upgradeable

All in all if you want an accurate stopwatch just get this one. Order two (I have a second one) I use stopwatches in my clinical practice and don't need laser precision to the millisecond, but the main problem is that most stopwatches are extremely cheap and the buttons are unreliable, either not working, or double-tapping (the is start/stop). This is a stopwatch. "You had a job." The buttons on this stopwatch are great, probably the best cheap stopwatch I've ever used. And the fact of the…

I liked it despite some problems.

Their website claims it was one of the first digital stopwatches and was said to be the official stopwatch for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Some reviewers complained that it was difficult to figure out how to set the date, time, and calendar, which was true for me, even with instructions that were NOT included. The description of this stopwatch on the ACCUSPLIT website states that instructions are included BUT the listing here on Revain includes a disclaimer emphasizing that instructions are NOT…
