Sounds best in cars and car electronics

With original ACDelco equipment. I'm buying some "other" speakers and they don't fit. Nothing compares to using the same part numbers that the Impala had before.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some little things

Perfect replacement

Screws in and plays as it should. Not a high-end speaker, but neither is the radio. I ordered an edge to fix the old one and replace the other side if it fails.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Security

Exactly the same as the original part

Sounds great, not bad to install (check out 1aauto's YouTube video on how to remove the front door). To remove the old speaker, simply loosen the screw above the speaker and then pry the speaker out with a flat head screwdriver.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Protection

Exact replacement 2007 Impala front door speaker

Replaced the driver's side front door speaker on my 2007 Impala with this, fits perfectly. It wasn't very difficult to remove the door panel and once it was removed replacing the speaker was easy. I ordered a second one to replace the passenger side door speaker on my 2007 Impala. Another perfect match.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Out of date

Your Impala doesn't have front speakers? That is the answer.

These speakers are AMAZING! TONS of Impals mid 2000's are losing their front speakers and replacements are hard to come by. To be honest, the standard speakers were fine and matched perfectly. It took me 15 minutes per side to remove the door panel (4 screws) and replace the speaker. Now I have a front sound system in my 2008 Impala again! Great offer!

Pros
  • Restore the sound quality of your audio system
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

2008 Impala Replacement Speakers

Installation was smooth and only took about 30 minutes. You don't have to be a pro, there are videos on YouTube on how to remove the door panel. Speaker installation is as easy as plug and play after removing one screw and old speakers. My 2008 Impala sounds great. Let's hope this lasts for a while. Since my recent speakers only seemed to work in the heat, I'm curious to see how they do on a cold morning. I'll update my review if I run into any issues, but so far so good.

Pros
  • Offers GM quality, reliability and durability OE
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Sounds good! Easy install

Had to replace the front door speakers in my '06 Impala as they stopped working. Went to Car Toys and they gave me an estimate of $450 to install so-called midrange speakers. When I got home I checked YouTube to see how difficult it was to replace them myself. Seemed easy, so I found these genuine Delco AC speakers for about $30 each and ordered them. They arrived as promised (2 days) and being original manufacturer replacements fitted without rework. Took me about 15 minutes for the first door

Pros
  • Made to GM OE specification for fit form and function
Cons
  • Expensive
