If you require an OEM part I strongly recommend NOT ordering it. Check out another reviewer who left pictures of the OEM bag with no OEM parts. I got the same one and due to my situation I have no choice but to install and leave it on my filter. I will order a genuine AC Delco part from gmpartsdirect. The price is about the same as this fake.

Although the packaging said GM and the correct part number was listed, the actual product was not OEM. OEM white as shown in the picture upon purchase. As can be seen from my photos, what I received was very similar to a Dorman product. Just a note. I didn't install it as I'm particularly fond of using some of the OEM products, especially when it comes to the fuel filter. By the way, I bought this twice, with exactly the same result.

After 14 years and many fuel filter changes on the original, the plastic wire cover on the base finally broke and the braid fell into my hand. I ordered this replacement water sensor along with two ACDelco fuel filters. When the shipment arrived on time and quickly, may I add, I screwed the sensor onto the underside of one of the new filters, installed and bled it for 5-7 minutes.
