Spend extra money on ACDelco.

2 sensors from other manufacturers were tested before this sensor, so it is highly recommended to prepay it to avoid trouble.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Negative result available

Item as advertised, no error in part number and suitable for GM vehicles

Easy install after watching videos online. It was worth the money. The part number accuracy was perfect for a genuine GM part. No errors or wrong part. There are no complaints or complaints about it. Perfect for my 97 Park Avenue.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Minority

Product failed in less than two months

installed on a 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra Less than two months after purchasing and installing this sensor it stopped working. The signal varies between a maximum pressure of 129 psi and 0 psi. After checking the integrity of the wiring and measuring the pressure, it becomes clear that the sensor is to blame.

Pros
  • handy item

  • so far so good

Wrong part received

buyer beware I ordered ACDelco 12677837 GM engine oil pressure sensor OE, got one that fits but the lens hole is much smaller than the installed sensor as I ordered the GM genuine part and one thing she thought is installed. inaccurate as after fitting a new original sensor the tappets are now ticking when the engine is cold, it takes time for the engine to warm up and more oil is sent for the tappets to stop ticking. Very disappointed with this purchase as sending the part back after…

Wrong part received

Remember buyers, I ordered the ACDelco 12677837 GM Original Equipment Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and got one that fits, but the lens hole is much smaller than the installed sensor as I ordered a genuine part which GM thought the set value was inaccurate therefore after installing the new genuine sensor the tappets now tick when the engine is cold, the engine needs time to warm up and more oil is sent to make the tappets stop ticking. Very disappointed with this purchase as sending the part back
