The great thing about this unit is that it has a BRACKET that allows you to mount it on the inner fender. I will try this valve on my 1969 and see if it works? I am very disappointed to have received a GM AC Delco Heater Control Valve P/N #15-51293 only to find out that it is a repackaged Murray P/N #6860-097 , which was made in China. .
