Disappointing Performance of Climate Control

According to my experience, the ACDelco replacement part for Automotive cooling system is a complete waste. It hardly made any difference to the car's climate control. However, it was easy to install. It's a pity that such a high-priced product failed to deliver on its promise.

Pros
  • Easy to Install
Cons
  • Ineffective Performance

Overall super satisfied.

It works great and pushes the air much better than the old fan that was original (27 years old) - the old fan worked quite well but eventually stopped working altogether unless I wanted to go out and bang the kit with a hammer! LOL anyway I'm very happy with the new fan for my old Chevy S10 and it's good and cool again.

Pros
  • Spares
Cons
  • Expensive

Great OEM part! Best in Heating

This ACDelco 15-80386 (GM Part Number 88960338) is a genuine OEM part as it is marked ACDelco on the engine itself. My old fan motor experienced intermittent fan operation (turning on and off) but there was no unusual noise. By checking with a voltmeter that the motor had constant power when the system and fan controller were in the "on" position, thereby ruling out the fan motor relay, I quickly determined that the motor was faulty. This quality replacement part solved my HVAC problem. A note…

Pros
  • Engine Cooling and Climate Control
Cons
  • Error
