Do not trust this climatic disappointment

As a result of using this product, I found that it did nothing to improve the performance of my vehicle's air conditioning system. The installation process was also frustrating and time-consuming, resulting in a waste of both time and money.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Ineffective and difficult installation.

Great for heating

Works like a charm. Replaced it with a 2005 Saturn Ion, the hardest part was removing the old one, which took 5 minutes total. The whole thing probably took 10 minutes, including disconnecting and connecting the battery.

Pros
  • Offers GM quality, reliability and durability OE
Cons
  • I'll keep quiet

Fan speed problem solved on Saturn

I bought my son a used 2003 Saturn Ion and noticed that the fan only blows at speed four (blowing at full power). After searching the internet, this resistance seemed to be the likely cause. Of course I plugged it in, and now the fan blows correctly at all four speeds. The resistor is under the glove box towards the fire wall, if anyone is looking for it there is no need to disassemble the center console (I've seen comments that people do).

Pros
  • GM recommended replacement part for your GM car's original factory component
Cons
  • Not sure
