Genuine ACDelco GM parts are excellent and affordable. However, this product was not easy to install, any guides or tips might help.

The item is original. Think ahead before you remove the old cable and attach the cable to it. If you don't do this, it will be next to impossible to route the new wire through the fender, firewall and under-dash mess back to the radio.

After installing I fully understand why they break. The antennas put a heck of a lot of force on this mount. After you incorporate this I will definitely be attracted to shorter antennas. If you have long arms that aren't too fat, you can easily install this by just removing the back half of the fender clips. Also, if you pull a piece of the antenna cable out of the vehicle, attach a guide wire, cable, string, or whatever you need to run the new cable back through the vehicle. If not, good luck

I bought this kit to replace the original on my 2007 Hummer H3.
