GM Genuine Parts Secondary Air Injection Shut-Off Valve - 21210000 Review

The part was a perfect replacement for a valve that failed on my 2001 Saturn SC2. My original stopped releasing air from the pump when starting the engine. Swapped the old one for the new one and everything works great. The car no longer has a check engine light and has passed the emissions test.

My girlfriend's 2001 Saturn SL SOHC code was P0410. After some research, I found that this valve was most often the cause of the code that was showing, so I replaced the old one with the new one. The code went away on its own, and she also reported that the "birdsong" sound she had been hearing for a while was gone. I disassembled the old valve and found that its diaphragm was hardened and cracked. This is an OEM part so it will fit and work.
