OEM at a great price

You will most likely need to remove the starter motor to change this, just a warning. Not bad if you're not new to automotive mechanics.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Works great for sensors

Works great! Remove the bolts from the starter and slide it aside. The sensor is behind the starter. Unscrew the two screws from the sensor, pull it out and install a new one.

Pros
  • New

  • No

08 Replacement OEM Silverado V8 6.0

Exact OEM replacement. The truck didn't start properly for a while, eventually reset the code, replaced it and worked great. Some engines require retraining, which I was prepared for, but luckily I didn't have to!

Pros
  • OK!
Cons
  • There are cons

This sensor was not packaged properly

this sensor should be gray 58x for Gen 4 LS. I got 2 of these in a row that included a black sensor for the Gen 3 24x LS. They had the correct part number for the 58x on the box, but the box had a 24x sensor.

Pros
  • a handy item
Cons
  • so far so good
