Easy install but buggy

I installed a batch yesterday to find out it was bad, now the truck revs up and down the road from time to time so I have the old one for now installed again. .

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Replacement availability

Revain going downhill

Revain has started to shit lately. I've had more problems with being late or losing items than ever before. I will be looking for alternative ordering options from now on.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Reliability

Many Thanks. It worked

I had performance issues and used an aftermarket TPS but performance was still poor. Turn on this AcDelco tps and some problems will go away and the performance is much better now. I really recommend this part

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works perfectly. Fits replacement parts

AcDelco OEM part. Works great, no problems. With the 5.3 engine, the alternator or throttle valve can be removed for installation. I found it easiest to unbolt the TB and tie the coolant hoses to keep the coolant from leaking out. Then simply reinstall the hoses and then the throttle body.

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
Cons
  • Guard

Great product, perfect fit for my fairly dated throttle body

Fits my 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 5.3L engine. However, an adjustment is required to force the computer to reset the throttle position at idle. I will be doing this on a 4WD dyno after my rebuild project is complete.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Negative impression

Great product and works great

The original throttle position sensor on my 1996 Beretta has not been changed in 25 years. This caused performance issues while driving and had dead space when turning on and off at high speed. It later turned out that these sensors should be replaced every 80,000 miles, which was much earlier on this car. After installation with a new sensor, all problems are gone. Drives great, like a new car. Removing the sensor is a little tedious as the bottom screw is a little tight, patient and steady…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Doubtful

Worked best for me in replacement parts

I adapted this for use on my 1987 Porsche 944S with a custom bracket and aftermarket ECU and it works great. I can't comment on the fit of the product (as my car was never intended for this type of TPS) but it worked great for my application. The signal is clear and gives me excellent voting results. With a grain of salt, this TPS will work with most aftermarket ECUs that are 3-pin adjustable potentiometers. So if you are looking for something similar, then this model is for you. However, you…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Unusable features
