🔧 GM Genuine Parts Engine Coolant Thermostat O-Ring (Part Number 24506985) Review

It fits and seals exactly as it should. When you see ACDelco AND "GM Genuine Equipment" in the title you are buying the exact same part your car would get if rebuilt at a GM dealership, you simply can't buy a better part!

I purchased this item with a thermostat that I installed in my car. I have been restoring a car and replacing original factory parts since 1995. This was the best way because it's thicker and seals the thermostat better. I recommend using genuine GM parts (AC Delco). So far the experience has been great. This was part of the coolant temperature sensor replacement.

Original O-ring that fits around the thermostat and into the recess in the thermostat housing to prevent leaks. Works well. Some ACDelco thermostats are supplied without an O-ring/gasket. It costs a few bucks to make sure you have proper sealing and no leaks. This seal/O-ring will fit both the OEM offset drain port type and the aftermarket type from Stant.
