Where is the AC Delco pump I ordered?

This is not part of AC Delco. Every AC Delco part I've ever bought is in its box. It came in a plastic bag. This is not a welded metal impeller as written.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Contact seller

Excellent product for spares

Excellent water pump replacement. I would give it 5 stars if it came with some new o-rings to install. I had to dig through my old o-ring kit to install this. It's fine, but most DIYers will need to buy new o-rings.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Empty

It doesn't come with seals

I bought it because other buyers said it was a metal impeller and the description said it was metal NOT metal. Impeller didn't have much time so I threw it anyway, I wasn't too happy

Pros
  • One piece construction
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

NOT CORRECT! Do not buy! NOT OEM AC DELCO!

TOTAL FAKE! Do not buy! Nowhere does it say AC Delco. I'll be back. Should have been in the original GM packaging if it is an OE PART AS LISTED! Madness! You must remove the bolts from the old pump to install this. Revain, you are guilty of selling fake shit without verification! Lesson learned!

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Something different

Yes! This part is OEM

Read the reviews that this is not an OEM part. Just in case I ordered a different O'Reilly water pump. I got it out of the truck. The impeller was actually made of plastic. My truck was built in 2006. Was a metal impeller used from 2005? Installation is not easy! For me around 8.

Not quite complete: Spare Parts

This pump is the original model with steel impeller and pump cover but does not contain any gaskets or o-rings other than the o-ring between pump and cover. I was expecting all o-rings and seals, hence the 4 stars. This is the same pump that many sell for over $200 after they weld the impeller and gear to the impeller shaft.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Update Availability

Buyers beware of counterfeit parts!

Attention buyers! The one I received was a fake AC Delco. The impeller was made of plastic. The original equipment and the AC Delco website state that the impeller is a "stamped steel impeller". This replacement is too difficult to replicate because the cheap plastic impeller slips on the shaft. I'm sticking with the OEM steel impeller. I would give minus 5 for fake if I could.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing here

Good quality with metal impeller

Fits and works like the original. The work is not so bad and difficult. You can do it in 3-4 hours. Note: Before installing the pump, remember to replace the pressure pipe and the relevant gasket to the thermostat housing. I tried to replace it after the pump was installed and two o-rings broke and sure enough it was leaking. I had to remove the pump to install the tube without tearing the o-ring.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Will write later
