Typical Aftermarket Part

I enjoy working with my Jeep TJ. Replacing worn parts is not a problem. Four years and 2100 miles for a new water pump is not acceptable. The original lasted 16 years and 127,000 miles. Pass this. I expected more from an AC Delco part. I think I know better now.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Uncertain

Looked good and sat well.

Gasket included. Fits well, looks great. 5 stars EDIT: 01/28/2019 I bought it in July 2017 for my Jeep project. Installed the engine in Aug. 2018. Launched in Oct. 2018. I only have 4500 km. But my 12 month warranty is over. This is not an expensive part and I bought this brand for a few bucks more to avoid this exact problem. It's -0* outside, it's snowing and the wind is blowing. I hope it doesn't start leaking before spring as replacing it now would suck. I assume this is an anomaly.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Look for the four "posts "

Updated review: Looks like the pump was faulty. All four racks were tilted inwards slightly (just a few degrees), but that prevented me from installing the fan in place. I tested this with different threaded studs just to make sure my posts aren't bent. It's a shame - so many hours wasted. I will send the pump back. I'm leaving this "tip" for the four posts because I think someone might find it useful: the posts don't come with a pump, so you'll have to reuse the one you have. The trick toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Upgradeable
