ACDelco 45H0242 Professional Front Spring Review

These springs are designed to fix the infamous Chevy/GMC tilt. They are very good at that! But be prepared. Installing new springs is much more difficult than removing old ones. It becomes clear how tired your old springs are.

I installed these on my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 2WD to fix the tilt I was having on the driver's side, it was quite difficult as it's my first It was time, but I made it. Be sure to use internal spring compressors. My truck lowered the front after I installed them so it was a bit disappointing since I already had the factory rakes, but the lean issue was fixed. (Make sure you are on a flat surface, otherwise the readings for both sides will be different.

Purchased for my 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 as my old coil springs were starting to sag in the front and I even jumped with the new shocks. This product will work for any 99-06 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 1500 2wd with coil springs. Attention, this product repairs "Chevy Lin". The spring on the driver's side is marked and higher than the passenger's side. Overall, the driver's side wheel is raised 3/4 inch to match the passenger's side measurement.
