Long cab Chevy Silverado 2003 U-joints

U-joints fit great Free shipping was decent. You can't go wrong with AC Delco. I have an extended cab 2003 Silverado 1500 with a two piece driveshaft. It is a C clamp with U connection. Not all Silverados use the same knuckle clamps. I recommend doing your research before buying and always matching previous U-Joints to current U-Joints. I had to heat my real U-joints to melt the clamp. This is a molded plastic that comes from the factory and acts like a U-clip.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Typical U-joint in universal joints

I ordered this to replace a rear axle universal joint on a 1993 Chevy K1500 bolted 4.3/nv3500/10 rear axle with a steel propshaft. Fits well with no problems. If this is your first time replacing an axis cross on an axis with an original gimbal, you will need a torch to heat and melt the nylon holder inside the gimbal. Be warned this may not work with your 88-98 truck, I've had several, and there are several different U-joints depending on whether you have steel/aluminum driveshaft and rear…

ACDelco part does not fit 6 liter Chevy Avalanche 08

Universal joints were delivered on time as promised. They appear to be well made. Revain's computer system told me this part would be perfect for my Chevy Avalanche '08 with a 6 liter engine. The computer is wrong and the parts did not fit as promised. The bearing caps are too small and float in the drive shaft. B. The lids should fit snugly and snap into place. Had to go to O'Reilys for the right size U-joints. buyers will bear. Revain does not tolerate the error recommended by your computer…

  • Unfashionable

I would say they are well made.

Fits 95 K2500 Steel 4x4 FRONT Driveshaft - Requires 2 - 1 front and 1 rear of same front shaft, sliding yoke type. The international rating in French is correct, these are internal circlips, not external like on the rear driveshaft. Who has English ever translated that -barrures means a clasp or a lock or a latch and not a place? This is a cap to cap width of 3.69" and 1" and 1/8" OD bearing caps. There are many gimbal configurations ranging in gross weight, axle type, gear type or steel vs…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

PREPARE YOUR TORCH!

These are really good gimbals. A word of warning, if you're replacing it with a Chevy K1500, have a blowtorch handy. Old universal joints are held in place by some sort of plastic seal. The only way I've found to get them is to melt them down. Once you get these things, they might be the last you'll ever use. Why? Because unlike trucks, they actually have grease fittings. They can be oiled regularly and last much longer. Also put some extra grease on the needle bearings when installing the…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are flaws
