Good Link Arms and Parts Upgrade

This part is a large, sturdy piece of metal that is about twice the metal of a standard aftermarket replacement. Only time will tell if it lasts longer.

Pros
  • Guide Arms
Cons
  • Guard

Not as well made as the original, but fits.

Not as well made as the original but fits my 2000 Silverado 2500 4x4. My advice for changing this is to remove it as a unit along with the hinge mount. There isn't much room on a 4x4 due to the cross brace. Also, don't forget to spray the nuts/bolts with the cutter or PB blaster a few days beforehand.

Pros
  • Control Arms and Parts
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great replacement for a 2001 Silverado

Pittman armrest is fine. The clearance between the splined shaft where the Pittman arm attaches to the steering box is too small to allow the use of a standard Pittman arm tool. Not enough room for the threaded shank to protrude, so instead of cutting through the bolt shank that came with the puller, I took a 5/8" 18tpi x 1 3/4" bolt and used enough space for bolt head spacing and enough travel, to pull out the old Pittman lever. Try not to break the lever, tighten the screw and heat the…

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • No specs
