Product failed after only 5 months. The second one we bought wouldn't even install as the grease fitting wasn't screwed on properly so we couldn't lubricate it.

Can't tell if the ball joint would work well because I couldn't install and use it. The pilot hole for the Zert was unthreaded, rendering the ball joint useless. Inaccurate design.

The shoe deteriorated, lost its shape and tore. So this failure will cost me installation, alignment and acquisition in 2 years. If the boot does not hold grease, the ball joint will fail. Incorrect part selection.

Don't waste your time and money. The POS cover broke and all the grease was leaking out, I figured it might be my fault so I ordered another one of the same kind and just over 1 year and 3 days after the warranty expired the boot broke on both and that all fat is drained. . I strongly doubt the ACDelco product.

These are used to replace the original (riveted) ball joints. I didn't have any torque specifications for these (bolted) replacement parts. I tightened them as tight as I was comfortable driving about fifty miles and tightened them again. I think the third time I did I couldn't rotate them anymore and then went to align. same offer on below. On the tops I used the angled oiler on the original rather than the straight one that comes with the new ones. seems to be OK,
